Banana Chutney
Brief Description
Banana is a very famous and readily available fruit in India. People prefer to eat bananas as it is when ripe but it can be made into a very yummy chutney too.
Time to Prepare 10 minutes Cooking Time 10 minutes Serves 0 Ingredients For Banana Chutney
- Bananas- 6
- Vinegar - 3¼ cup
- Salt to taste
- Cinnamon powder- 1/8 tsp
- ground Cloves- 2
- cardamoms- 2
- Red chili pepper- ½ tsp
- Sugar -1 ½ cups of
- Raisins- 4 tsp
- blanched Almond- 4 tsp
How To Make Banana Chutney
- Peel off the bananas and chop them up into small pieces.
- Take a pan and cook bananas in it with vinegar. Keep adding sugar till it dissolves.
- Take it off the flames and mix in slit almonds, raisins, chili powder, salt and ground spices.
- Cool, stir and pour into clean jars and cork tightly. Once it has cooled down, place it into a jar and keep it in a safe place for 2 days before serving.
