Apple Mango Chutney
Brief Description
This is very tasty sweet and sour chutney which goes extremely well as along with a lot of curries and recipes of lamb, chicken and pork etc.
Time to Prepare 30 minutes Cooking Time 120 minutes Serves 0 Ingredients For Apple Mango Chutney
- peeled and sliced raw Mangoes- 250 gm
- peeled and sliced Apples- 250 gm
- crushed cardamoms- 2 big nos
- Vinegar - 1 cup
- Water - 1 cup
- Red chili pepper- ½ tsp
- Sugar- 1 ¾ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Garlic- 4 cloves
- long snips of Ginger- 1 tsp
- Raisins- 4 tsp
- blanched Almonds- 8
How To Make Apple Mango Chutney
- Take a heavy bottom pan and pour water in it. Now drop mango, apples, garlic and ginger into pan and cook them together.
- Now put in almonds, sugar, red chili powder, raisins and cardamoms. Keep cooking till the chutney gets a thick consistency.
- Once done let it cool down and place it into a bowl for serving. You can also put into a jar for preserving.
