Lahori Chargha
Brief Description

Preparation Time 30 mins Cooking Time 45-50 mins Serves 4 Ingredients for Lahori Chargha
- Chicken cut into pieces- 1 kg
- 2 inch piece of ginger- 1
- Green chilies- 4 to 5
- Carom seeds- 2 tsp
- Cumin seeds- 2 tsp
- Cinnamon powder- 2 tbsp
- Garam masala powder- 2 tsp
- Red chili powder- as per taste
- Salt to taste
- Lemon juice- 1tbsp
- Cooking oil- 3 tbsp
How to make Lahori Chargha
- Grind all the spices to make a marinade and marinate the chicken in them. Put it in refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
- Fill a pan with water and drop in the chicken pieces and cook the chicken in it.
- Add oil and fry the chickens in it.
Some Useful Tips
- To make sure your homemade chili, garlic and ginger paste stays fresh for long add a tbsp of hot vegetable/ sunflower/ canola oil into it and mix well. Keep them in refrigerator and use when necessary.
