Along with being a country of rich heritage and culture, it is not surprising that many places in India are also associated with the spooky and supernatural powers or beliefs associated with them. In India, it is not impossible to find places, where people have actually come across ghosts or eerie sounds or images associated with such stories. Although, many associated these with real occurrences, still there are many, who suppose these as things of unnatural occurrences and tend to waive off such presence.
Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad City of Andhra Pradesh is one such location, where haunted environments have been spoken of. Truly magnificent, Ramoji Film City is one of the largest studios in the country and spreads across 1666 acres of land. Along with shooting of many movies of Tollywood, it houses large complexes doubling as recreational centres and also has an amusement park. The film city came up to be functional in 1996, where world class film making facilities are present and is one of the busiest and largest studies presently found in the country. There is a host of natural sightseeing places inside the complex as well as many manmade structures, which provide perfect location for shooting of movies. In short, it is the best filmmaker’s land, where a number of regional and Bollywood movies have been shot.
Haunted Place in the Film City With Variety of Occurrences
When the large expanse of this Ramoji Film City is considered, there are many such areas, which are usually devoid of human entry because it is not possible to have so many people occupying each and every place. Amidst such locations, there are a few places which have achieved the notoriety of being haunted, with people reporting strange sounds and banging of doors, especially at night. Although, people have not seen such images depicting ghosts, the sounds are weird enough to instil the sense of the places in Ramoji Film City being haunted. There are hotels even, where some people of movies being shot have stayed and have reported strange events, although a few have considered these to be the publicity stunts.
Historical anecdotes about the Ramoji Film City are further supportive of the possible appearances of these ghostly images and happenings. It is believed that the vast expanse of land on which the Film City has been erected was once the battlefield of the Nizam’s who used to have their rule in Hyderabad. With thousands of dead soldiers laid to rest on these grounds, it is pertinent to get the belief that the location would be haunted. Further reiterating such beliefs are unexplained occurrences during the shooting schedules and people have started refraining from going into the areas, where such occurrences have happened.
