Kafni Glacier
The Kafni Glacier is settled in the Kumaon Himalayas which is located to the southeast of Nanda Devi. It ascents to Kafni river, an accessory to Pindari River. Kafni Glacier is settled in the district of Bageshwar. One may have to pass through Bharadi, Loharkhet, Dhakuri Pass, Khatiya and Khati Dwali to arrive at Bageshwar. The direction up till Loharkhet is navigable, which extends for about 90km. The last town in this way is Khati. Due to its fascinating feature, unlike Pindari, it is considered to be the most famous journeyer stop, since in Pindari it’s really very tough to make a long journey after zero point.
The breathtaking grace and coolness predominating in this area has an invincible lure. The famous Nandakot lies in Kaphini Glacier. Through Byali Udhar it extends for about 12km to arrive at Kaphini Glacier. This valley is much wider burans which blossom over this place is wondrous.
The principal capstones evident from this glacier are Nandabhnar which extends for about 6236m and Nandakot which extends for about 6860m.
