Kesar Kaju Barfi

- Cashew nuts- 500 gm
- Sugar- 300 gm
- Saffron- 1/2 tsp
- Orange Color- 1/4 tsp
- Eatable silver foil- 2
How To Make Kesar Kaju Barfi
- Cashews need to be soaked in water for 3 hours beforehand.
- Completely drain cashews of the water and grind them finely.
- In a pan, mix sugar and cashew nuts, and roast on low heat, stirring constantly. Take a pan, mix cashew nuts paste and sugar in it while constantly stirring on low flames.
- Put in saffron and orange color and mix well till the mixture gets a good color.
- Take the pan off the flames.
- Place butter paper on an even surface and pour over the mixture on it. Cover it with another butter paper and gently roll out with a rolling pin.
- Take off the butter paper from the top and place sliver foil on it.
- Cut the barfi into diamond shaped pieces and serve.
