Jeera Aloo
Brief Description
Jeera Aloo is an extremely delicious festival recipe. This deep fried delicacy is usually prepared during the festival of colors i.e. Holi. Learn how to make this recipe in a simple and easy manner at home by following the steps given below.
Preparation Time 10-15 mins Cooking Time 20-30 mins Number Of Serves 4 Ingredients for Jeera Aloo
- 4 large diced and boiled Potatoes
- 4 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- Salt as required
- 1 tsp Red chili powder
- 1 tbsp crushed Coriander seeds
- 1 tsp Roasted cumin powder
- ½ tsp dry mango powder
- 2 tbsp Fresh coriander leaves
How To Make Jeera Aloo
- Take a pan and heat oil in it. Sauté the cumin seeds in it.
- Sprinkle with salt.
- Add in crushed coriander seeds, chili powder, dry mango powder and roasted cumin powder.
- Put in the potato cubes and cook till potatoes are soft.
- Add the coriander leaves for garnishing and serve it hot.
