Jaljeera
Brief Description
Jal jeera is a very popular summer drink in India. It is preferred in many Indian houses as a reprieve from heat and exhaustion. Learn how to make this refreshing drink by following the procedure given below.
Preparation Time 15 mins Cooking Time 30 mins Serves 4 Ingredients for Jaljeera
- Roasted and ground Dry Cumin Seeds- 2 tbsp
- Mint Leaves Paste- 2 tbsp
- Cilantro Leaves Paste- 1/2 tsp
- Dried Mango Powder- 1 tbsp
- Black Salt- 1/2 tsp
- Lemon Juice- 2 tbsp
- Sugar- just a Pinch
- Cold Water- 5 cups
- Mint Leaves- 8 to 10
How to Make Jaljeera
- Take a bowl and mix all the ingredients except water nicely.
- Add the cold water and try to ensure that mixture dissolves in water as much as possible.
- Serve chilled in glasses with mint leaves for garnishing.
