Churma Ladoo
Brief Description
Churma is a traditional Rajasthani recipe prepared during festive season. It is basically in powdered form but can be made into the famous Churma ladoos quickly. Learn how to prepare churma ladoo by following the procedure below.
Preparation Time 15 mins Cooking Time 30 mins Number Of Serves 4 Ingredients for Churma Ladoo
- Wheat flour- 200 gms
- Ghee- 400 gms
- Khoya / Mawa- 100 gms
- 200 gms Sugar (grounded)
- Soaked almond- 50 gms
- Cardamom- 4
- Dalchini- 1 inch
How to Make Churma Ladoo
- Mix flour with 150 gm of melted ghee. Make the dough by using as little water as necessary. Make 16-18 equal shape and sized balls from this dough.
- Take a wok and heat up the rest of the ghee.
- Now drop the balls in the hot ghee and let it turn golden brown. Take out the balls when done and cool it. Grind them and mix with khoya.
- Mix in dalchini and cardamom powder. Also add sugar and almonds to the mixture. Now take this mixture and fry it again for only a minute.
- Take the mixture and make balls of it. Let it cool.
- Churma ladoo is ready to be served.
