Preparation Time 25 mins Cooking Time 60 mins Number Of Serves 4 Ingredients for Chilean Christmas Bread
- Two cups of SR Flour
- One cup Milk
- One tsp Baking Powder
- 100 gm Cherries
- One tsp of Cognac or Brandy
- One cup of Plain Flour
- One cup of Sugar
- One cup of Sultanas
- One cup of chopped Almonds
- Half cup of Glace Fruit
- Two Eggs
- Amount of Butter-115 grams
- One grinded Lemon Rind
How to Make Chilean Christmas Bread
- Firstly clean the flour properly and then divide butter in pieces.
- Now add eggs, cream butter and cream sugar altogether and mix them properly.
- Add almonds, glace fruit, lemon rind, cherries, vanilla, glace fruit and cognac to the flour mixture.
- Mix these ingredients properly and place it in a buttered mould.
- Finally bake the recipe at about 150 degree F for about 90mins.
