Maharashtra Bhaja Caves
Bhaja Caverns are number of 22rock-cut cave going returning to the 200 BC situated at Karli, near the Lonavala, Maharashtra. The location of these Bhaja Caverns has been not far through this Karla Caverns, which will be stylistically similar. The Bhaja Caverns had been on major business direction of past that ran from Arabian Sea eastward into the Deccan area, the department between Northern Native Indian and Southern Native Indian. Architecture
The Bhaja Caverns discuss same sets of structural styles as the Karla Caverns. Creatively, most amazing monument is a large shrine — chaityagriha — with an open, horseshoe-arched entry. Other caves have nave and section, with an apse containing the strong Stupa and section circling throughout apse, offering the circumambulation direction.
A significant part of monument is number of fourteen stupas, 5 inside and 9 outside an infrequent excavation. 1 of these caves had some excellent statues.
Near this last cavern are fountains which, during monsoon year, have water that drops in to a small discuss at end. These caves will also provide important evidence regarding t history of this Tabla, and Native Indian drums device.
