With holiday season beckoning, couples and groups of friends are all set to explore the world. While many plan their kick back holidays outside India, they miss out on the fabulous beaches scattered along India’s 7500 kilometre coastline. These beaches are source of revenue to many states while also being the Pride of Incredible India. Here are top five beaches that remain to be explored once in a lifetime to explore India’s coastal beauty: 

Goa

The party capital of India, Goa is one of the best places to start off the beach blast in India. One is sure to find people parasailing, sunbathing and relaxing with a sip of beer all-round the year. The Party with DJs and party mongers at Candolim beach is India’s grandest New Year blast. 

Gokarna - Karnataka

Distinct from the party culture of Goa, beaches in Gokarna are known to blend religion with spirit of beach fun. Famous for Murudeshwar temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, the pristine beaches lets the traveller to enjoy a day basking in the joy of rocky coasts and non-commercial areas. Om Beach, Half-moon beach and Paradise beach are famous ones that are in closer proximity to Dabolim Airport- Goa. 

Ganapatipule - Maharashtra

One of the most spectacular beaches on Konkan coast, this tiny village of Maharashtra offers a grand holiday outing. Located at about 35 kms from Jaigad Fort, the panoramic view of beach, villages and other distant cities from the cliff is an experience in itself. The place is also famous for distinct red sand and shallow water apart from the self-originated temple of Lord Ganesh. Ambapoli and Phanspoli are sweet savouries which can be picked up from nearby shops. 

Marari – Kerala

The magnificent beauty of Kerala needs no introduction. This vibrant Tourist State attracts people from all over the world who readily succumb to the exotic beauty. The Alleppey district is a sleepy town complete with Marari beach, which is less explored. There are numerous resorts which blends with modern day comforts with surrounding natural beauty to have a paradise like retreats. 

Havelock - Andaman

Simply put, these islands are home to vibrant coral reefs, sparkling white sand and turquoise water.
